West London Family Home
This vibrant West London home was designed for a creative family with a passion for colour, art and individuality. Led by Lottie and developed in close collaboration with Hanson Architects and the clients themselves, the aim was to create a house that felt deeply personal and reflective of the people who live there, rather than a space that appeared overly designed or formulaic.
The clients’ impressive art collection provided the starting point for the scheme, influencing the palette, mood and character of each room. Throughout the house, we layered antique finds, bespoke pieces, interesting textures and carefully sourced furnishings to create interiors that feel collected and evolved over time. Every room tells its own story, balancing practicality for family life with moments of creativity, playfulness and surprise.
A collaborative and enjoyable process, this project involved extensive sourcing and treasure hunting to uncover unique furniture, lighting, fabrics and accessories that would sit comfortably alongside the clients’ existing pieces. Rich colours, tactile materials and unexpected combinations bring warmth and personality throughout, resulting in a home that feels both sophisticated and relaxed.
The finished house is a celebration of confident design, creative living and the joy of surrounding yourself with things you truly love.
